I've been working with the team from Camp King Industries since 2018, not long after they launched their hard-shell rooftop tent onto the market. Run in the far western Queensland town of Boulia, on the edge of the Simpson Desert, the 25th Anniversary Boulia Camel Races were held in July 2022, drawing crowds in excess of 5000 people from all over the country for the three-day event. Local camel "Gunna" took out the cup, with jockey Kyrralee Woodhouse riding him to victory.

The Big Red Bash of 2022 rocked the Simpson Desert over three days and nights. From the headline act of Jimmy Barnes through to the Nutbush world-record being broken yet again, the event was an amazing success with over 11000 people attending the event.

Capturing all the action over four big days, which covered 1300+ kilometres of southern and central Queensland roads and dirt tracks for the "Rally for a Cause - Dunga Derby 2020". Sixty-five cars, 250 competitors and over $280 000 raised! What a mammoth effort.

Over many weeks, I shot the promotional images that were used by Patriot Campers for their worldwide release of the all-new X3 camper trailer.
